On Friday, April 4th, founders of our portfolio companies, investors and long-time friends met for the third ASTUTIA Day. In the space of Wayra, Telefonica’s global start-up accelerator, Benedict Rodenstock and Bernd Schrüfer welcomed the guests and provided an overview of the latest financing rounds, exits and new investments. Key notes held Arnd Benninghoff, CEO of MTGx in Stockholm, Julian Riedlbauer, Partner at GP Bullhound and Dr. Gerrit Seidel, CEO of Sofort AG and VP at Klarna. They shared insights on thinking in the Silicon Valley, presented successful growth equity strategies and demonstrated the current challenges in the areas of FinTech and digital payment. On behalf of the portfolio companies presented among others Fredrik Harkort, CEO of Social Media Interactive (10 Weeks Body Change and Klitschko Body Performance) and Johannes Heinen, CEO of our Hamburg-based investment Stylelounge. The dinner with selected Bavarian specialties was followed by a party in the Heart club. Thank you to all participants for joining the event – we are looking forward to next year!
