Benedict Rodenstock
Benedict Rodenstock is founder and CEO of ASTUTIA and an expert for the development of startups and digital transformation. He holds an MBA, a degree in History and he studied internet sciences in New York. He started his professional career as a consultant, building new strategic business units. Among others, he worked for Hubert Burda Media, WEB.DE and Roland Berger Strategy Consultants. Early on, he started supporting founders and technology startups. Since founding ASTUTIA in 2006, Benedict Rodenstock works as a venture capital investor. His former investments include numerous international success stories, such as Mister Spex, Dreamlines, Amorelie and InterNations.
Manuel Sprödhuber
Manuel Sprödhuber is Investment Manager and part of the ASTUTIA team since 2014. He started his career at medicine technology company Nal Von Minden, where he worked in marketing and sales and completed a dual study in Business Administration. At ASTUTIA, he is the main contact for founders and potential new investments. He controls the deal sourcing process and anaylses investment opportunities. As Investment Manager, Manuel Sprödhuber keeps track of the development of our portfolio companies. In strategic questions he may closely work together with the founder teams. He currently works with investments such as Horizn Studios, Building Radar, Asana Rebel und reINVENT.
Armin J. Lang
Armin J. Lang is Senior Advisor at ASTUTIA. His experience includes 30 years of internationally working with traditional and alternative asset classes, with sustainable successes in the fields of company building, business integration and restructuring. He holds a degree in Business Administration. After starting as a portfolio manager, thereof 10 years in Boston, we worked in the field of global investment strategy and corporate management, among others for the European institutional asset management for Pioneer Investments, and as CEO of a German venture capital company. Since 2008, Armin J. Lang works as investor and entrepreneur. He is managing partner of Colamis Group, a specialized provider of taylor-made solutions for institutional investors and financial service providers.
Beate Heinzmann
Beate Heinzmann is part of the ASTUTIA team since 2012. As Executive Assistant, she is responsible for the office management. Formerly she worked for a business consulting firm and for a large communication agency. Whether for the team, for portfolio companies or business partners, Beate Heinzmann is the central contact person at ASTUTIA. She supports the investment team and makes sure the processes are running smoothly, she coordinates inquiries and meetings, and she is involved in many projects. She is the backbone of our administration and supports the team all aspects.
Lukas Henseleit
Lukas Henseleit is responsible for marketing and communication and since 2012 part of the ASTUTIA team. He studied business administration in Germany, Austria, Ukraine and USA. Since 2008 he works as a consultant to private and public clients, including startups, investors and technology companies. Lukas Henseleit regularly writes background articles and case studies in the fields of private equity, startups and new technologies. At ASTUTIA, he takes care of media inquiries, events and partnerships.
